4J Energy, LLC (“4J”) was formed in 2015 by 4 energy marketing professionals. In 2025 we will celebrate our 10th year in business. We could not have achieved this milestone without our dedicated employees and our valued customers.
4J creates value for its customers by capitalizing on the market with best-in-class logistics and midstream solutions.
4J was founded on the principle of providing solutions for complex logistics, and we have done just that over the 10 year history of the company.
First 4J Railcar unloaded in Mexico - 2016
The company started as a ‘first mover’ of propane by rail to Mexico when the Mexican markets liberalized in early 2016. Since then, we have delivered hundreds of millions of gallons of propane, on well over 10,000 railcars, to destinations all over Mexico.
We have continued to expand our propane business further domestically by building several propane rail terminals in remote locations with complex supply issues like McAlester Oklahoma, DeQueen & Russellville Arkansas, and most recently Cresson Texas. We expect to continue our domestic growth by buying or building additional propane storage and transload facilities in niche markets all across the US.
The 4J Energy team has over 250 years of combined energy marketing and transportation experience across multiple commodities. We have extensive logistics and marketing experience in all the major oil producing basins of the US. We are blessed to have some of the BEST people in our industry at 4J.
